Mobile phones have opened up a new dating experience when it comes to telephone dating services. United States, Europe and Asia are just a few examples of the many countries where the mobile companies offer these services. Many people feel very comfortable in finding first-class dates by using the telephone dating service.

It is important to note that this type of dating service is actually provided by the mobile phone companies. All you have to do is register using a screen name and set up your profile. Then your profile is entered into a database that the other members can access. If you are looking for a date you simply type in keywords that describe who you would like to date and the company sends you a list of names that match your criteria.

Phone numbers are not given out to other members. The user name that you have set up is the only identifying information that shows on your mobile phone. This allows people to chat and not feel like their privacy will be compromised. Once you have determined that you like the person whom you are chatting with, at that time, it is your choice if you wish to exchange mobile numbers and even consider setting up a date.

Approximately ten years ago, telephone agencies became an option for finding a date. Most times you would see the advertisements in the yellow pages or on TV advising you to call the number and leave a message. The message you leave is a little description about yourself so that when other people call in they can listen to all of the messages that were left. If you found somebody that sounded interesting you can leave a message in his or her personal voice mailbox.
